The Coleg Cymraeg creates training and study opportunities in Welsh and inspires learners, students and apprentices to use the Welsh skills they have. We are grateful to the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol for the investment and support.

The welsh language opportunities Protech are able to offer is the delivery of the Essential Skills bilingually, delivered by Coleg Y Cymoedd. As our apprenticeship is rail specific, we are unable to alter any of the training deliverables. Network Rail stipulates all learners/delegates must have a command of the English language.

We utilise the Rail Centre for Excellence for DCCR and TIC elements of the safety critical training at the Nantgarw Campus.
